Mikie Breiner is the team driver for MB Enterprises. Our single car team competes in the ASA Super Late Models Stock Car Series at Illiana Motor Speedway. Mikie started his racing career in go-karts when he was 11 years old, and he has the following accomplishments:

2010 Season

  • NASCAR Late Model standings 6th out of 39 teams in Illinois.
  • Five Top 5 and thirteen Top 10 finishes out of 16 races at Rockford Speedway.
  • Mikie finished out of the Top 10 in only 3 races this season.
  • At Rockford Speedway, our team standings were ahead of 6 teams that had the same number or more races than our team.
  • Mikie nearly won many features (in the hunt) in 2010. Dominated a late season race having led 23 of the final 24 laps, and the competition crashed him on the final straightaway to rob him of the win.

2009 Season

  • Received the Driver Development Award. Awarded to the individuals voted "most likely to make it to the big league".
  • Moved up to NASCAR Late Model stock cars from Mid-Am stock cars.
  • Rookie of the Year in NASCAR Late Model Stock Cars series at Rockford Speedway Loves Park, Illinois.
  • Finished 6th out of 42 drivers and 1st of 6 Rookies.
  • 6th of 21 drivers in "Fast Dash Race" points (Top Rookie).
  • High feature race finish of 3rd with 6 top 5 finishes in the 18 race series.

2008 Season

  • Moved up to Mid-Am stock cars from the INEX/600 Racing Legends series and Allison Legacy cars.
  • Finished 15th out of 41 drivers.
  • High feature race finish of 8th.
  • 2007 Season
  • Rookie season in the INEX/600 Legends Pro series where he won 3 feature races and had 4 heat race wins.
  • In his Allison Legacy car he won 4 feature races and had 8 heat race wins.

2006 Season

  • Moved up to Allison Legacy stock cars from F200 Open go-karts.
  • As a rookie in the Allison he won 1 feature race, won 2 heat races, and he captured the poll position for 3 races.
  • Set the fastest lap time of the year at both Lake Geneva Speedway and Rockford Speedway.
  • In his F200 Open go-kart, he won the first ever Burris Asphalt Regional Championship (a mid west series).

2005 Season

  • After taking an early season break, Mikie returned to action in late summer and won 9 out of 11 Burris Circle Tour feature events at various tracks.

2004 Season

  • Changed go-kart series from WKA sprint series to Burris Circle Tour paved ovals.
  • Won the first 3 feature races he ran in the Burris Circle Tour.

Mikie raced in the World Karting Association (WKA) Nationals from 1998 to 2001, where he placed top 10 in points in 2 classes during two of the years. Mikie has won the sprint kart championship at South Bend, Indiana in 2003, 2002, and 2000. In 1999 Mikie was named the Most Improved Driver at the Michiana Kart Club, and finally, he was 11 years old when he started his racing career in sprint go-karts at South Bend, Indiana.
